Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: iridella (Busck, 1907) (Mompha) - MONA 1983: 1510; TL: Claremont, CA. niphochrysa (Meyrick, 1930) (Stagmatophora) Taxonomic Notes: Eteobalea iridella (Busck, 1907), n. comb. in Sinev (2002), was formerly placed in the genus Stagmatophora.
