Distribution: Texas to Florida north to Michigan. Type locality: Brazil Description/ Field Marks: See Koster (2010), Zool. Med. 84(10): 298; figs. 23, 125, 208, 311. Genitalia: See Koster (2010) Similar Species: 1485 Cosmopterix quadrilineella 1486 Cosmopterix minutella Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: • Cosmopteryx callichalca Meyrick, 1922 • Cosmopterix dicacula Hodges, 1962 Taxonomic Notes: Cosmopterix callichalca (Meyrick, 1922) includes as a synonym Cosmopterix dicacula Hodges 1962 [1481], Zool.
