Distribution: Central FL north to Gainesville and southern Texas Description/ Field Marks: "Homaledra sp. 2 has white forewing veins, especially the radials. It doesn’t have scattered black scales, but the terminal spots are a bit more pronounced on average [than Homaledra sabalella]. The wings are narrower, and the antennae are longer than the wings." - James Hayden (pers. comm., 2/4/2018) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: knudsoni Hayden, 2021 (Homaledra) Taxonomic Notes: Homaledra knudsoni Hayden, 2021, n. sp., is described from Florida, Insecta Mundi, 0859: 15.
