Taxonomic: Notes Batrachedra linaria Clarke, 1957: This species is known in NA from 3 TX records in the USNM collected in 1973 and identified via dissection by Ron Hodges (the specimens are in the BOLD database, but the barcodes failed). Shropshire & Tallamy (2025) also report a CA record in an online list of specimens in the University of California, Berkeley, by Powell & Hsu (2004); the latter publication is no longer available. Synonymy: linaria Clarke, 1957 (Batrachedra) unver. Similar  : Species Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
