Distribution: "Probably widespread across most of the northern USA and southern Canada from western Oregon,Washington, and British Colombia east to Ontario and Maine." - Davis & Stonis (2007)
Holotype: Toronto, ON.
Larva and
Host Plants:
Gooseberry (Ribes spp.). The common name "Gooseberry Barkminer" was erroneously applied to P. quardristrigella originally due to misidentification in Grossenbacher (1910).
