Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Agavaceae.  Host genera: Agave Hesperoyucca[= Yucca] Yucca.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Description/ Field Marks: Warning: examination of genitalia is typically required for species level identification of specimens in all genera of this family. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: gigantella Chambers, 1876 (Holcocera) - MONA 1983: 1185; TL: "on the road to Monument Park, about three miles north of Colorado Springs.".
