  • Taxonomic Notes: Hypatopa simplicella (Dietz, 1910), n. comb., n. status, originally described as a variety of 1151 H. plummerella, is elevated to full species with 1145 H. coenomorpha (Meyrick, 1931), 1155 H. differtella (McDunnough, 1961) and 1146 H. distinctella (Dietz, 1910) as synonyms in Adamski & Hodges (1996).
