Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Fabaceae Malvaceae Melastomataceae Rosaceae Solanaceae.  Host genera: Cajanus Glycine Gossypium Nicotiana Physalis Rhexia Rosa Solanum.  Notes: Rhexia(?).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: subflexa (Guenée, 1852) (Aspila) - MONA 1983: 11070 Taxonomic Notes: Chloridea subflexa (Guenée, 1852) was formerly placed in the genus Heliothis. The new generic combination from Pogue (2013) is followed by Lafontaine & Schmidt (2015), Lafontaine & Schmidt, 2015: 140.
