Similar Species: 11068 Helicoverpa zea is separated only by genetic dissection
Taxonomic Notes: Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner, [1808]) - "This species was detected in Florida (Manatee County: Bradenton) in 2015, but appears not to have become established (USDA 2017)." - ZooKeys, 788: 248.
