Synonymy: sulinaris Lafontaine, 1998 (Parabagrotis) confusa (Smith, 1888) (Agrotis) faculella (Strand, 1916) (Triphaena) Taxonomic Notes: Parabagrotis sulinaris includes as a synonyms Agrotis confusa Smith, 1888 (junior homonym of confusa Alpheraky, 1882), faculella (Strand, 1916) (proposed as an aberration and therefore is an unavailable infra-subspecific name), and Parabagrotis insularis of authors; (not Grote, 1876) in Lafontaine (1998)
