Synonymy: dilucida (Morrison, 1875) (Agrotis) - MONA 1983: 10969   Type locality: Milford, NH. atoma (Smith, 1907) (Semiophora)   Type locality: Lakehurst. NJ. janualis (Grote, 1878) (Agrotis)   Type locality: Albany. NY. youngii (Smith, 1902) (Semiophora)   Type locality: Mer Bleue [Bog], near Ottawa, ON. Taxonomic Notes: Xestia dilucida (Morrison, 1875), n. comb. (Lafontaine 1998), was formerly placed in the genus Anomogyna; includes as a synonym Xestia youngii .
