Synonymy: imperita (Hübner, [1831]) (Ogygia) - MONA 1983: 10965 arufa (Smith, 1905) (Aplectoides) comparata (Möschler, 1862) (Agrotis) daisetsuzana (Matsumura, 1927) (Euxoa) discitincta (Walker, 1856) (Bryophila) saxigena (Morrison, 1875) (Agrotis)   Type locality: White Mountains, NH. Taxonomic Notes: Xestia imperita (Hübner, [1831]), n. comb. (Lafontaine 1998), was formerly placed in the genus Anomogyna.
