Synonymy: fabulosa (Ferguson, 1965) (Anomogyna) - MONA 1983: 10958 sincera of authors; (not Herrich-Schäffer, 1851) (Agrotis) misappl. Taxonomic Notes: Xestia fabulosa (Ferguson, 1965), n. comb. (Lafontaine 1998), was formerly placed in the genus Anomogyna.
