Distribution: Suggested by Heppner as a species straying into, but not breeding in, Florida. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: bicarnea (Guenée, 1852) (Noctua) - MONA 1983: 10950 plagiata (Walker, 1865) (Mamestra) Taxonomic Notes: Pseudohermonassa bicarnea: Formerly placed in the genus Xestia.
