Distribution: USA: TX. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: ursae Lafontaine, 2004 (Eucoptocnemis) TL: Holotype: Lomas de Chapultepec, Mexico. Taxonomic Notes: Eucoptocnemis ursae Lafontaine, 2004, n. sp., is now recognized within the North American fauna. This Mexican species was first reported from Caprock Canyon, Briscoe Co., TX, three specimens collected, 3/3/2015, by J. Vargo and identified by J. Troubridge.
