Taxonomic Notes: Scythropiodes issikii (Takahashi, 1930) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico. Several submissions at BugGuide from VA and GA going back to 2009 led to a determination by Terry Harrison based on genitalia of a 2014 specimen contributed by Marcia Morris.
