Description/ Field Marks: |
Forewing with a smooth medial line. Dissection required; DNA barcode is apparently not definitive. Smith (1988) mentions the am. line with a long inward tooth followed by a long outward tooth near the inner margin, but this character does not appear to hold up. |
Similar Species: |
- Ulolonche dilecta (Edwards, 1885) has a jagged medial line or at least an outward tooth near the reniform.
- Ulolonche disticha (Morrison, 1875) has a jagged medial line or at least an outward tooth near the reniform.
- Cryptic, possibly undescribed species represented at BOLD by BINs BOLD:ABZ0725, BOLD:ABZ0723, and BOLD:ADG1993.
