Homohadena candida Smith, 1900
Taxonomic Notes: Catabenoides terminellus (Grote, 1883): The true identities of this species and it's synonym candida Smith, 1900 are unclear and will remain so until the type specimens can be dissected and/or DNA sequenced. This species is represented at BOLD by BINs BOLD:ABW8287, a member of the "insularis group" with specimens from TX to AZ, and BOLD:AAB4195, a member of the "vitrina group" with specimens from TX to CA. Both BINs are here treated as terminellus pending further study. (notes based on Troubridge (2020) and Jim Troubridge (pers. comm., 9/28/2021).
