  • Acleris obtusana (Eversmann, 1844) includes as a subspecies Acleris fuscana (Barnes & Busck, 1920) in Kyrki (1982). This treatment was apparently overlooked in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) but followed by Razowski (2002). A. obtusana includes as a synonym Acleris obligatoria of authors; not Park & Razowski, 1991, a name misapplied to A. fuscana in Pohl et al., 2004. The subspecies obtusana is apparently restricted to Europe.
