Taxonomic: Notes Sympistis columbia: Formerly placed in the genus Oncocnemis. Synonymy: columbia (McDunnough, 1922) (Oncocnemis) - MONA 1983: 10118 Host Plants: Host familiy: Rosaceae.  Host genera: Holodiscus.  Notes: specialist on Holodiscus discolor (Crabo et al 2014).  (Shropshire & Tallamy 2025 [accessed 6xii2025]) Similar  : Species Pinned specimens of related species.
