Synonymy: tenuifascia Smith 1888 (Oncocnemis) - MONA 1983: 10080; Type locality: Colorado mus Troubridge & Crabo 1998 (Oncocnemis) Taxonomic Notes: Sympistis tenuifascia: Includes as a synonym Sympistis mus (Troubridge & Crabo, 1998) [10080.1]. Formerly placed in the genus Oncocnemis.
