Distribution: Widely distributed in boreo-montane habitat across Canada south to WV, NM, UT, northern CA. FL stray suggested by Heppner is unlikely.
Type Locality: St. Martin’s Falls, Albany River, Hudson’s Bay [Martin's Falls, ON].
