Synonymy: pyraliformis (Walker, 1858) (Thermesia) arenosa (Walker, 1865) (Phurys) concisa (Walker, 1865) (Iluza) credibilis (Walker, 1858) (Thermesia) flavilineata (Hampson, 1904) (Thermesia) pedestris (Walker, 1858) (Phurys) profecta (Walker, 1858) (Poaphila) sigillata (Walker, 1858) (Thermesia) Taxonomic Notes: Manbuta pyraliformis, transferred from the genus Epidromia in Poole (1989) and later to the genus Manbuta pyraliformis in Becker (2001), is reported from Florida by Dickel (1991).
