Distribution: Suggested by Heppner as a species straying into, but not breeding in, Florida. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: bidens Geyer 1832 (Gonodonta) miranda Raymundo 1908 (Gonodonta) Taxonomic Notes: Gonodonta bidens: Reported from Florida and Texas. BOLD data seems to infer that specimens from those two locations may not be the same species.
