Synonymy: franconia (Edwards, 1888) (Arctia) Taxonomic Notes: Apantesis franconia (Edwards, 1888) was formerly in the genus Grammia, Systematic Entomology: 41(4): 844-853. This species was previously considered a form of 8187 Grammia celia, Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, 156(3): 507-597.
