Synonymy: Cerura candida Lintner, 1878
Taxonomic Notes: Americerura candida (Lintner, 1878), n. comb. (St Laurent et al. 2023), was previously placed in the genus Tecmessa (Schintlmeister 2013:452) and in the genus Cerura in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
