Distribution: Southern Texas and Mexico. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: polymygmata (Dyar, 1919) (Molybdogompha)   Type locality: Panuco, Mexico. Taxonomic Notes: Aplogompha polymygmata (Dyar, 1919), now recognized within the North American fauna (Texas) in Ferguson (1986), was formerly in the genus Molybdogompha, n. syn., Pitkin (2002), Zool. J. Linn. Soc.,135(2-3):164.
