Synonymy: denticulodes Hulst 1896 (Diastictis) - MONA 1983: 6305 Taxonomic Notes: Macaria denticulodes (Hulst, 1896), formerly placed in the genus Itame in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and in the genus Speranza in Ferguson (2008), is returned to genus Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002).
