Synonymy: deserticola (Barnes & McDunnough, 1916) (Lithostege) mispl. - MONA 1983: 7633   Type locality: La Puerta Valley, CA. Taxonomic Notes: "Lithostege" deserticola Barnes & McDunnough, 1916 is treated as misplaced in the genus Lithostege and unplaced to tribe by Schmidt & McGuinness (in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023).
