Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Betulaceae Ericaceae Myricaceae Rosaceae Salicaceae.  Host genera: Alnus Betula Comptonia Corylus Gaylussacia Morella Myrica Populus Rhododendron Salix Spiraea Vaccinium.  Notes: polyphagous on trees & shrubs (Forbes 1948); leaves (FG Browne 1968) & (Wagner et al 2001).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
