Similar Species:
  • 7687 Phyllodesma americana lacks a white spot in the medial area of the forewing but if present, it is usually accompanied by some black markings.
  • Caution: P. occidentis may lack the white spot or have a white spot accompnaied by some black markings. DNA barcode may not be able to separate species in this genus.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
