Genitalia: See Clarke & Benjamin (1938). Similar Species: Ceranemota tearlei is treated as a senior synonym of albertae in Pacific Northwest Moths. While Clarke (1938) separates the two based on genitalia, intermediate characters were found by Jim Vargo (pers. comm., 12/23/2021). As of 1/1/2022, DNA barcode does not appear to clearly separate the two species. Other species in Ceranemota are best separated by genitalia or DNA. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: albertae Clarke, 1938 (Ceranemota) - MONA 1983: 6248   Type locality: Head of Pine Creek, Calgary, AB.
