Distribution: USA: Arizona. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: superba Barnes 1901 (Thyatira); Type locality: Huachuca Mts., AZ mexicana of authors not Edwards 1884 (Thyatira) Taxonomic Notes: Thyatira superba Barnes, 1901, rev. stat. (Schmidt in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023), was formerly treated as a synonym of Thyatira mexicana Edwards, 1884, a species extralimital north of Mexico.
