Synonymy: elassa Franclemont 1973 (Naniteta) - MONA 1983: 7661; Type locality: Brownsville, Cameron Co., TX Taxonomic Notes: Lacosoma elassa (Franclemont, 1973) was previously placed in the genus Naniteta, now a junior synonym of the genus Lacosoma in St Laurent et al. (2018).
