Synonymy: |
santella Kearfott 1908 (Surattha) - MONA 1983: 5326; Type locality: South Arizona |
Taxonomic Notes: |
Prionapteryx santella (Kearfott, 1908), n. comb., was formerly in the genus Surattha (Hayden & Scholtens in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023). Previously, this species was transferred to Prionapteryx by Bleszynski (1967) as a result of synonymy of the two genera. This synonymy was overturned by Bassi & Mey in Mey (2011), Esperiana Memoir 6: 234, leaving the generic status of santella uncertain. |
