Synonymy: n. sp. 2 Taxonomic Notes: Hemiplatytes n. sp. 2 refers to a possibly undescribed species from southern California represented at BOLD by BIN group BOLD:AAH4481. A population found in Santa Cruz Co., AZ may prove conspecific.
