Taxonomic Notes: Acentria ephemerella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775), an introduced species, includes as a synonym A. nivea (Olivier, 1791) in Scholtens & Solis (2015) and Passoa (1988) following suggested treatment in Speidel (1984).
