Distribution: Type locality: Harris County, TX; paratypes: TX, GA, FL, AL, “Staten Island” (presumably NY). Description/ Field Marks: Wings white with veins 11 (R1) and 12 (Sc) connected. Genitalia: See Heinrich (1937). Similar Species: 5310 Rupela segrega, requires dissection. 5311 Rupela tinctella has both a brown and white form; the latter requires dissection.
