Distribution: FL but apparently spreading north to SC and west to TX. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: charesalis Walker 1859 (Botys); Type locality: Borneo argillitis Turner 1937 (Sylepta [sic]) delhommealis Legrand 1966 (Psara) molusalis Walker 1859 (Botys) vetustalis Strand 1918 (Lampridia?) Taxonomic Notes: Nacoleia charesalis (Walker, 1859) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico (Florida), News Lepid. Soc. 57(1): 8-10.
