Distribution: USA: Florida. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: acamasalis Walker 1859 (Zebronia); Type locality: India (Hindustan, "Hindostan") flexissimalis Walker 1866 (Botys) strangulalis Snellen 1880 (Heterocnephes) perspicualis Walker 1866 (Zebronia) Taxonomic Notes: Chabula acamasalis (Walker, 1859), a non-native species, is tentatively recognized within the North American fauna; two photo records from Florida in 2020 and 2022; no specimens collected.
