Synonymy: Asopia binodulalis Zeller, 1872
Taxonomic Notes: Hypsopygia binodulalis (Zeller, 1872) was assigned to the genus Herculia in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). This species was transferred to the genus Hypsopygia in Leraut (2006).
