Synonymy: insularella (Ragonot, [1889]) (Tetralopha)   Type locality: Puerto Rico. paurolepidalis (Hampson, 1904) (Eutrichocera)   Type locality: Bahamas, Abaco. Taxonomic Notes: Phidotricha insularella Ragonot, [1888] is recognized within the North American fauna by Scholtens & Hayden (in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023).; FSCA specimens from Dry Tortugas, FL compared to USNM material by James Hayden.
