Distribution: Oregon to Arizona (Purrington 1995).
Type locality: "Ephraim Can[yon], 5,600', creek bottom in oak-pinyon-juniper zone, Sanpete Co., Utah."
Larva and
Host Plants:
An inquiline in Juniper midge galls (Diptera, Cecidomyiidae) (Purrington 1995).
