Distribution: Holotype: Palmerlee, AZ. Description/ Field Marks: WS = ~17 mm. Similar Species: Arta epicoenalis Ragonot, 1891 is best separated by dissection. Caphys arizonensis is larger, WS = ♂ 20-22 mm; ♀, 24-30 mm - Munroe (1970). Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
