Synonymy: sepulchralis Guérin-Méneville 1832 (Thyris) - MONA 1983: 6077 lugubris Boisduval 1852 (Thyris) margaritana Clemens 1862 (Dysodia) Taxonomic Notes: Pseudothyris sepulchralis (Guérin-Méneville, 1832) was transferred from the genus Thyris to the genus Pseudothyris, gen. n., in Thiele (1986).
