Distribution: Type locality: USA. "Texas Nueces Co., North Padre Island". Similar Species: 3172 Epiblema strenuana 3172.1 Epiblema minutana. 3173 Epiblema abruptana. Synonymy: • Epiblema luctuosissima Blanchard, 1984 • Epiblema luctuosana Blanchard, 1979 Taxonomic Notes: Epiblema luctuosissima Blanchard, 1984 is replacement name for Epiblema luctuosana Blanchard, 1979 (preoccupied), J.
