Distribution: Southwestern AZ east to central TX and south to Costa Rica (BOLD). Possibly found in OK (iNat.). Larva and Host Plants: Vachellia farnesiana Willdenow (sweet acacia, huisache) based on rearing of a DNA barcoded specimen by Ann Hendrickson. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: sp. 6SL () Taxonomic Notes: Aristotelia sp. 6SL is a cryptic species, possibly undescribed, represented at BOLD by BIN BOLD:AAH5091.
