Distribution: USA: Broward Co. and Miami-Dade Co., FL. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: laterestriata Walsingham 1897 (Polyhymno); Type locality: "West Indies - St. Thomas" Taxonomic Notes: Thiotricha laterestriata (Walsingham, 1897) is tentatively recognized within the North American fauna based on a population from Coral Gables, FL and more recently Broward Co., FL. (James Hayden, in litt., 2024).
