Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: issikii (Takahashi, 1930) (Depressaria) plocamoca (Meyrick, 1935) (Odites) Taxonomic Notes: Scythropiodes issikii (Takahashi, 1930) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico. Several submissions at BugGuide from VA and GA going back to 2009 led to a determination by Terry Harrison based on genitalia of a 2014 specimen contributed by Marcia Morris.
