Distribution: Type locality: Austin, TX. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Melittia magnifica Beutenmüller, 1900 Taxonomic Notes: Eichlinia magnifica (Beutenmüller, 1899), n. comb. (Gorbunov 2020), was formerly in the genus Melittia.
